Chamber music performance with current musicians for Carnegie Hall's Ensemble Connect at Weill Recital Hall.
Ensemble Connect (formerly Ensemble ACJW) has premiered new works by Meredith Monk and Ted Hearne, and performed chamber music classics that span Bach to Philip Glass. For this concert, the ensemble performs Copland’s gorgeous Appalachian Spring, a timeless American masterpiece. The New York Times has called the collective “the new face of classical music.” Come hear these brilliant young musicians as they celebrate the 10th anniversary of their founding.
